Couple portraits that say: this is us, together
Your'e engaged! Your story is entering a new chapter now, and you have a wonderful, big job to do: plan your wedding. On the list of many YES or NO decisions you get to make is this one:
"Should we do an engagement session? "
There are some great reasons to do an engagement session, and of course we're fans! Couple portraits tell the story of who you are as a couple, right now, in this pre-married chapter of your life together. They're also perfect for save-the-dates, a wedding sign-in book, your wedding website, and more. Another plus? An engagement session can help if you're nervous about the portraits on your wedding day, and want to feel more acquainted with us and the portrait experience.
However, you might also have reasons for not feeling like you want to do an engagement session, and that's fine too! You might already have had gorgeous portraits done at your (surprise?) proposal, and love them. Or maybe you just won't have the time or budget for one more item on the wedding to-do list. No worries! Jenna and I will work tirelessly to help you feel comfortable, natural, and confident during your wedding portrait sessions; afterall, it's what we do!
So, the short answer is: it's entirely up to you! If an engagement session is a YES, you can either choose one of our collections that include a session, or customize your collection to add one. Then we start choosing gorgeous locations, and schedule your session for sunset time on a mid-week day (or weekend, as available) as soon as you'd like.

We know you'll be excitedly waiting for your wedding photos, and we don't want you to have to wait long. You will receive a 50 - 75 image preview of your wedding day within a few days, and your full wedding will be uploaded to your own custom gallery within 3-4 weeks.

Wedding photography is about planning and flexibility. Our detailed photo-planning questionnaires will help us to create a photo-timeline for the day so we don't miss any of the most important moments and portraits. But flexibility is key, so even if the plan changes on the day, we're ready for it!

When you're ready to move forward, booking your date is simple and online. You'll receive a link to your online proposal where you'll approve your custom collection, e-sign your contract, and pay your 25% deposit payment. That's it! Next, we start planning...
