DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19

COVID-19

This is a very crazy time. I hope you both and your families are healthy and safe, first and foremost. I truly expect that in no time we will all be back at our normal lives, but for now we are doing what we must to keep our communities safe - staying home, washing our hands, and supporting one another however we can.

I created this information page in order to ensure that you, my couples, feel as informed as possible as you navigate the possibility of needing to postpone your wedding plans. I want you to feel secure that I will work with you to help ease this strain, as much as I possibly can.

You are my couple, and I am here for you. - Jen

First, I remain committed to your original wedding date, and as long as social-distancing limits have been lifted, I will be there to capture your day. 

If you need to postpone

You are not alone! Many couples are having to face the choice of postponing their spring and early summer weddings to an undetermined date later in the year, or even next year. If this happens to you, I will immediately place your current photography contract and invoice on 'pause', and no further payments will be due until your new date is set.


Setting your new date

As you begin to coordinate with your venue for a new wedding date, please be sure to reach out to me too. This is pretty important because my available dates this summer and fall are already limited. I do still have openings, though, and as long as we are in contact you will have priority access to open dates over any new wedding inquiries I might receive.


Associate option (or vice versa)

If I am not available for your new date, I still have the possibility of serving you through my associate team. And, vice-versa too: if you are an associate couple and your photographer is not available on your new date but I am, then I will step in as your photographer at your associate pricing.


New date - same plan

Assuming I or my associates are available, we will pick up right where we left off in terms of your photography planning. I will send a revised contract and your invoice will be adjusted if necessary. 

Cancellation or unavailable (aka 'worst case')

And if, in the end, you do have to choose a  new date for which I or my associates are not available, let's talk right away. This is a very tough time for us all, so please take care of yourselves and your families, and we'll work through this together.
