Marilee+Greg | CIA Greystone Wedding

Photographing a wedding can be an all-day affair, capturing the story from getting ready to last dance and everything in between, and I love it. But not all weddings need this kind of coverage, and I love them too. There are lots of things that make a wedding couple unique, and one of them is the desire for a simple event that happens to not require quite as much photography. Marilee and Greg were just that sort of couple. My assistant Kendal and I were with them for just a few hours of their day – from just before their ceremony to just as their dinner began. But even with so few hours, I have the same goal that I have at any of my couples’ weddings – to capture images that reflect the story of the day. I work to photograph the surroundings, showcase the details, capture candid moments, create natural portraits, and reflect emotion. Being a part of the beauty of a wedding, whether large or small, and whether for a few hours or all weekend, is a privilege that I always, each and every time, take to heart. And I hope that what we produce gives my couples the images they need to truly remember their day always. xo
